It seems as if there are always new developments in the bondage gloves market. Whether made of leather, latex, steel, or even 3D-printed plastic—the choices are diverse. But what's behind the latest innovations in this field?
What makes 3D-printed bondage gloves so special?
3D-printed bondage gloves are relatively new to the market. They are characterized by their lightness and adaptability. The ability to create custom designs allows them to offer a personalized solution for every need.
There are already some interesting designs that have inspired me, too. But I'm particularly drawn to the self-closing glove in the shape of a grasping hand. There's a design by joe-the-wulf that he published on Thingieverse years ago.
I redesigned the whole thing from scratch and integrated some things that I was missing.
Flattened corners and edges

With the Joe the Wolf design, I kept pinching my skin, sometimes quite painfully. That's why all the edges are now beveled to prevent this as much as possible.
Protection against flat objects when attempting to open

If you try to force the glove open by using a screwdriver, knife, or spatula, you could injure your fingers. There's now an edge that makes it much more difficult to penetrate the finger area.
Small armpit

I wanted to have an arm attachment to make it difficult to move the wrist.
Self-bondage option

Thanks to an additional clip-in pin, the restraints can also be used for self-restraint. To open, simply press the protruding pin against a stable surface.
